At Hoody, we are committed to safeguarding our users' privacy and anonymity. We firmly believe that it is not our place to judge or have knowledge of our users' activities. To ensure the highest level of legal protection, we are based in the British Virgin Islands (BVI), which has no data retention laws.
Our system has been meticulously designed to prevent any tracking of our users. We have built our entire infrastructure from the ground up, ensuring that we do not have the means to monitor user activities. To further protect user anonymity, we do not request any personal information during the signup process, not even an email address, as it could be easily exploited by governments to track users. Instead, we employ cryptographic accounts called Hoody Keys.
While we are dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security, we always encourage our users to take additional precautions. We recommend utilizing all available encryption mechanisms to minimize the attack surface and reduce the need to rely solely on a single service.
Hoody Premium Network
On our Premium Network, we adhere to a strict zero-log policy for all user activities. To ensure that no logs are stored, we run our servers using RAMDisk with initramfs. This means:
Hoody Website
Unlike many privacy providers with questionable practices, we strictly refrain from using any analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Matomo on our website. The use of such tools would directly enable user tracking and allow governments to subpoena the analytics providers, obtaining the real identities and browser fingerprints of our customers.
Although the Hoody website collects some general statistics about page usage, such as visits to the pricing page, this data is never correlated with individual users or their identities. These statistics are used solely to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns.
Key points:
Hoody Free SOCKS5 Proxies
Hoody provides Free SOCKS5 proxies with a speed limit of 1 MB/s. To implement this throttling, our custom SOCKS5 server, written in C++, maintains a list of currently connected IP addresses in the program memory using a Map data structure. However, this list of IPs is never permanently stored and is discarded when the server or program shuts down.
At Hoody, we are dedicated to providing our users with the highest level of privacy and anonymity. By implementing strict policies, advanced technologies, and transparent practices, we aim to create a secure environment where users can browse the internet without fear of being tracked or monitored.
